Paper Submission InstructionsPaper Submission Page
You can submit your paper at http://icmc05.suvisoft.com/corg/submission/ Paper templates
STEP 1: complete a properly formatted proposalWe recommend that you use the Word file or LaTeX files to produce your document, since they have been set up as formatting guidelines. When using these files, double-check the paper size in your page setup to make sure you are using the A4 (210mm by 297mm or 8.27" by 11.69") paper layout. The LaTeX environment files specify suitable margins, page layout and text. Although this environment has been extensively tested, there may be rare instances when it is not fully robust. Please contact us if you have any problems with the templates. STEP 2: Submit the proposal electronically. The review process will be performed from the electronic submission of your proposal. To ensure that your proposal document is compatible with the review system, please adhere to the following compatibility requirements: File FormatIMPORTANT: Papers must be submitted in either PostScript or Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) format. PDF files must not have Adobe Document Protection enabled, as this prevents us from processing the file. These submissions must be formatted to A4 page size, and in first-page-first order. Please verify that the final version of your PostScript or PDF file prints correctly to a PostScript printer before submission. Documents that do not print correctly cannot be reviewed. Also, make sure to disable ALL document security. For best results, authors should avoid the use of custom half tones, bitmap pattern fills, and bitmap fonts. Use standard half tones and solid color or grey fills instead. The paper submission system will convert all papers into PDF. If you are able to create a PDF file yourself, you are encouraged to do so. Since reviewers will be viewing a PDF version of your paper, translation errors will be minimized by your submission of a PDF version instead of a PostScript version, which would result in the best possible rendering of your document. Be sure that you embed all fonts that are used when you create the PostScript or PDF file. For best PDF document quality, you may want to read Adobe's recommendations for generating PostScript and PDF files. IMPORTANT: all fonts must be embedded in the PDF or PostScript file. There is no guarantee that the viewers of the paper (reviewers and those who view the proceedings CD-ROM after publication) have the same fonts used in the document. If fonts are not embedded in the submission, you will be contacted by us and asked to submit a file that has all fonts embedded. Please refer to your PDF or PS file generation utility's user guide to find out how to embed all fonts. IMPORTANT: PDF files with Postscript Type 3 fonts will not be accepted. PDF and PostScript files utilizing Type 3 fonts are typically produced by the LaTeX system. It is possible to perform a few simple changes to the configuration or command-line to produce files that use PostScript Type 1 fonts. An excellent set of instructions is found at:
For most installations of LaTeX, you can cause dvips to output Type 1 fonts instead of Type 3 fonts by including -Ppdf option to dvips. The resulting Postscript file will reference the Type 1 Computer Modern fonts, rather than embedding the bitmapped Type 3 versions, which cause problems with printers. Some LaTeX installations also include pdflatex, which produces acceptable PDF files as well. Windows users: To save a document as a PostScript file:
Postscript files can be converted using Adobe Distiller if it is available on your system or you can use a third party website at http://www.ps2pdf.com/ to do the conversion. The former method is recommended but the latter can also be used if the degradation of image quality in the converted PDF file is not noticeable or is acceptable to you. Note that Word files are not accepted. Please create PDF or PostScript file from Word document following the guidelines. No Asian fonts to be used. File Size LimitAuthors should try to limit the size of their document file to 2MB (megabyte) for the initial submission of papers for review. However, the final accepted papers for CD-ROM proceedings must not be larger than 2MB. SubmissionWhen you have your document file ready, gather the following information before entering the submission system:
To submit your document and author information, go to the following page:
You will be asked for information about the authors, the paper, the abstract, etc. You will also upload the file containing your proposal. Depending on the size of your file and your internet connection speed, the file upload may take a few minutes. At the end of a successful upload, email message will be sent to the authors' email addresses to confirm that the file has been uploaded. If you encounter trouble, contact the paper submission support at: [email protected] STEP 3: Check the ICMC-2005 website for the status of your paper.Review ProcessIf file format errors are found in your submission, you will be contacted to resolve the issue. If your paper passes inspection, it will be entered into the review process. A committee of reviewers selected by the conference committee will review the documents and rate them according to quality, relevance, and correctness. The conference technical committee will use these reviews to determine which papers will be accepted for presentation in the conference. The result of the technical committee's decision will be communicated by May 31, 2023, to the submitting authors by email, along with any reviewer comments if there were any. STEP 4: Revise accepted papers for final submission and submission.Accepted PapersIf your paper is accepted by the review process for presentation and publication at ICMC-2005, you should prepare your final camera ready paper submission including a complete description of your ideas and the results of your research, with consideration of the reviewers' comments sent by email. Final papers must be completed and submitted before the final camera ready paper submission deadline June 21, 2023. Please observe the format requirements outlined in steps 1 & 2 when you prepare the final camera ready paper. SubmissionTo submit your final camera ready paper, go to the following page:
Final Paper InspectionSimilar to the proposal submission, your final document will undergo an inspection by our staff to ensure that it meets all formatting requirements to be included in a visually pleasing and consistent proceedings publication for ICMC-2005. If we encounter errors in the appearance or compatibility of your document file, you will be contacted by email. |
